Yoga for the pelvic floor teacher training

The work of strengthening, stabilizing, stretching and softening the pelvic floor helps to create a stable foundation of each movement in the body. This program is designed as a set of tools to avoid loss of energy from this important area. A balanced pelvic floor helps keep the pelvic and abdominal organs healthy as we age. Increasing strength and flexibility that leads to resilience. The pelvic diaphragm is the bottom of our apparatus of breathing and is intricately connected with our internal organs and all of functions of movement. Prolapsed organs, incontinence and pelvic pain are common to over fifty percent of women. A healthy pelvic floor is more than doing Kegels or mulabandha. These practices can be misunderstood and oftentimes lead to more challenges.
