Follow Your Dream
The first step is to believe you can.
So you want to be a yoga teacher…
Are you a good fit for the Atlas 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Intensive? It is not for the faint of heart. As the name implies, you will have to be willing to live, eat and breath yoga for the duration of the program to get through the material and take care of yourself in the process. You will not have time for work or family during a program like this. You will take part in classes, live Zoom experiences, practice classes and discussions. When you are not in class, you are reading, writing, practicing and reviewing. Ideally, you can set aside all other commitments and focus completely on the program.
some answers to questions we get from incoming YTT’s…
You do not need to have a lot of experience!
Some people do this program to learn more about yoga for their personal practice and understanding. During the program you will develop a personal practice that is accessible and in line with you personal goals. We suggest that you be familiar with some basic yoga movements before you start. If you are completely new to yoga talk to Denise about the yoga teacher prep program.
Our program is proud to be accessible to more abilities.
If you feel that you may need special assistance it is a good idea to connect with us and have a personal meeting to discuss your needs.
Mental health is important: make sure that you are in a good place with the support that you need.
We understand that the intensity of the one month program is not the right place for everyone, if you find that you have taken on more than you can handle you can transfer to a more extended program or create an independent learning plan (depending on the solution, additional costs may apply).
Yoga Teacher Training is not a form of therapy.
There are many therapeutic benefits of practicing yoga and you may find that there are healing, transformational and empowering experiences in this program, however; it is not a substitute for professional support.
