A certified yoga therapist specializing in integrated somatic trauma therapy and traditional indigenous healing practices of her ancestors, Denise will invite you into the flow of your deepest hearts desire.

Investing in my self …

The cost of the program is based on the amount of time with an advanced, experienced, trauma informed teacher who is sensitive to accessibility and inclusion as well as skilled in transforming space from the profane through the liminal to the sacred. The tuition includes use of space that has been carefully curated to facilitate transformative experiences.

We offer three prices that embody the need for change in our culture.

“Love and justices are not two. Without inner change, there can be no outer change; without collective change, no change matters...The “We” economy relies on us acting from our deepest sense of interconnection.”
— Dr. Angel Kyoto Williams

Spiral Symbol

THE SACRED SPIRAL

The spiral is a highly complex symbol, yet a common shape found in nature, as well as in sacred architecture. In the natural world, we find spirals in the DNA double helix, sunflowers, whirlpools, weather patterns, vine tendrils, galaxies, snail shells, and ferns. Look at our fingertip and we see a spiral, even the shape of our hair at the crown of the head is a spiral.

Since paleolithic times in Egypt, Crete, Mycenae, Mesopotamia, India, China, Japan, pre-Columbian America, Europe, Scandinavia, Britain and Oceania (but not Hawaii) this symbol has manifested with many meanings and representation. There is magic, myth, sacred geometry and math entwined in the story of the spiral. In this play-shop we will explore the sacred nature of the spiral in a variety of somatically embodied modalities from meditation, movement, music-sound and breath.

The Somatic sacred spirals Program …

is designed to be a positive environment for movement and spiritual explorers of all ages to feel comfortable with self-discovery, challenged with technique, to gain quality somatic experiences, and be an active seeker of the self exploration in and out of the studio. We expect young people who are able to focus and follow instructions to elders who are able to imagine movement will enjoy this experience and come away with a sense of transformation.

Weather permitting we will be outside for a large part - if not all - of the day. We have indoor space in case of inclement weather.
